2019 Winnebago Revel 44E
The idea was born in March 2018 during a vacation to Florida where we were first able to see and experience the Revel first hand. From there the "NEW RV SMELL" took over and we were onto the next process of some decision making and determination to locate one of these so called Revels. Part of the process was determining what we were going to do to the Revel once we had it and since we had 3 months to plan there was plenty of time to dream up our ultimate ride. So, with a lot of planning, we went about working to create the beast!
We ended locating one not far from home where we purchased our newest arrival to the family. We took ownership on June 23, 2018.
This blog is to highlight many of the modifications we did and to dive a little more into what it took to put this plan into action and get everything working. We hope you enjoy the journey with yours as much as we have so far with ours.
THE DREAM MACHINE
Starting with a Mercedes Sprinter 2500 High Top 4x4 van, we decided that going with Winnebago it would give us plenty to work with and that we could then customize to our own liking versus waiting 2+ years on a Sportsmobile custom. They had already had the basics covered so we just took it from there and started to make it our own.
