Infotainment Center

One of our main focus for mods was the infotainment system seeing they are now only providing the stock Mercedes radio.  With the Alpine Halo 9, we now have XM Radio, Bluetooth capability, Android Auto, Backup Camera viewing along with other auxilliary items such as our DVR recording system.  The front side door speakers and tweeters were also replaced with Alpine R-Series 6 ½” Component Speakers.  Because there were only front speakers from the factory as well, we added two Alpine R-Series 6 x 9 Speakers in the rear doors to add more depth to music throughout.  As you can see above right, the Alpine 8” Powered Sub fits perfectly on the back of the driver’s seat.  Not shown is a Kicker 50 watt x 4 Amp is also installed.  To receive the XM signal, we installed an XM antenna near the rear view mirror area.  Kiddy corner from the ignition, you can see where we added a switch which will allow us to operate the audio system without the ignition being on.  This feature was taken away on the 2019 Revel’s as well.
